Our Founder

Head coach and founder Hayley has a history in the British Army as a Physical Training Instructor and Medic, where she gained a strong foundation of knowledge in performance, resilience, and structured training. Alongside this she is now co director for ‘The Tri Coach’.

At the core of her work is a strong passion for increasing female participation in endurance sport. Women’s Tri Collective was built to create an environment where women feel supported, understood, and confident breaking down barriers and helping more women access high-quality coaching that is often lacking in the space.

As a mum and a keen athlete, she understands first-hand the challenges of balancing training with family life. Her own postpartum return to training shaped a deeper, practical understanding of how to rebuild fitness safely, regain confidence, and progress back to high performance without rushing the process.

Over the years, she has coached female athletes across triathlon, duathlon, and running, helping them move from complete beginners to confident athletes, and from recreational athletes to competitive AG performers. Her approach is not just about training harder, it’s about training with purpose, understanding your body, and building long-term consistency.

Alongside endurance coaching, she is also a qualified weightlifting and strength and conditioning coach, integrating strength work in a way that supports performance, reduces injury risk, and fits realistically into busy schedules.
